RGV Legal Aid is here to serve your eviction  needs.

Tenants will from time to time, need to be removed
from your property for several reasons, some for not
paying their rent, causing problems with other tenants,
damaging their dwelling unit, having animals when not
allowed and so forth.

RGV Legal Aid can help by solving the problem through
a process called eviction.

The tenant is served a notice for violation of their rental contract. They will
have a certain number of days to preform as described in the notice or
contract. If the tenant fails then the last recourse is to file an eviction with
the local court.

It is important that this process is followed correctly or you as an owner can
continue to loose hundreds of dollars in rents due to improper service.

We follow and process these following steps:

  • Meet with you the owner to discuss and review all documents

  • Prepare and serve either 3 day, 30 day or breach of lease notice on
    tenants

  • Work with the tenant and owner throughout the process if necessary

  • Appear in court on behalf of the owner for completing the process

preparing, serving and filing paperwork for owners on their rental properties. If an owner
chooses for us to appear in court on their behalf then it is done through a signed rental
